In 1998 I released my first solo CD, $6 Sunglasses. With the help of long time friend and co producer, Wil Rothman, drummer extraordinaire, Braddigan (Dispatch), and early Grift member, Rian Alfiero, we recorded it in NYC in Wil’s apartment. None of us new what the hell we were doing. I played most of the instruments and to be honest, it sounds pretty rough. But it was a start that I am proud of. There is some funny stuff in there.
In 2011, I released an album called Click with the band Clint Bierman & The Necessary Means. To this day it remains one of my proudest accomplishments. We recorded it in two days, mostly live at Signal Kitchen in Burlington, VT with long time friend and producer Dave DeCristo.
I am set to release my next solo project in the coming year. It will be called Not Your Eyes and it is a collection of songs written in quarantine during the pandemic of 2020. Much of it was written with long time collaborator Peter Day and it features Learic, Ryan Clausen, The Bierman Bros., Josh Panda, and Zdenik Gubb (Twiddle).
