My Story

I was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but I've called many places home—from Colorado and Massachusetts to several spots across Vermont—before settling down in the beautiful Champlain Valley with my two boys.

With over 25 years in the music industry, I’m a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer. In 1999, I co-founded my longest-running project, The Grift, with Jeff Vallone, and have since produced more than 10 original albums with the band and it's members. When I'm not with The Grift, you can find me playing solo or with my other projects, including Neon Ramblers, Honeywell, Clint Bierman & Friends, and the Hug Your Farmer All Star Band. I also frequently lend my talents as a hired musician for other projects.

Some of my proudest moments include co-writing a musical, My Post-Traumatic Cruise Ship Cabaret, and co-writing I'm On My Way for the Shrek 2 Soundtrack with my good friend Rich Price.

Beyond the stage, I'm a busy entrepreneur and mentor. I'm the co-owner of LionTone Studios in Middlebury, Vermont, and the founder of my independent record and streaming label, Glenn Source Records. I release my projects through this label, and I also love to support up and coming artists. Along those lines, I run a week-long rock music crash course for kids at the Town Hall Theater called Rock-It Science, where I teach them songwriting, band dynamics, and performance skills.

My creative ventures extend to film, video, and co-hosting the music and life podcast, The Age Old Question, with Rich Price. I also co-invented Shweebee, a new backyard frisbee game that is now available for order!

Even with my packed schedule, I'm a dedicated father and an active member of my community. I'm driven by the belief that “the harder I work, the luckier I seem to get”, and I'm grateful for all the support I've received along the way. Thanks so much for following along.
