One of my favorite projects is my Rock-It Science classes. During school breaks, I offer classes to youngsters about music. And not the traditional classes that they would find in school, but one that utilizes my almost 3 decades as a working musician. From performance to the business side of being in a band, our goal is to provide kids with some real knowledge about what working as a musician (or another job, there are tons...:) in the music business is really like. I always include special guests in my camps and classes, all of which are my contacts and collaborators within the industry that are filled with amazing real world knowledge to pass along.
