On Friday, September 18, hundreds of neighbors, businesses, and community leaders will gather at the American Legion Post #14 in Vergennes for AHW’s Neighborhood Block Party 2026, an evening of live music from The Grift, local food, and community connection in support of affordable housing in Addison County. This year’s event comes at a critical time. Affordable housing is under increasing pressure, and many local workers and families rely on housing support to remain stably housed. At the same time, employers across our region continue to face workforce challenges tied to housing affordability. This year’s Block Party will feature: Live music from The Grift Great local food and beverages Family-friendly activities Community connection in support of affordable housing All proceeds directly support AHW’s affordable housing and resident programs.
